Naf Kassi, Ghanaian hiplife/highlife musician has expressed her disappointment of Ghanaian artists for not receiving any nomination at 2019 BET Awards.
Speaking with the Afro360News.com, the “Odo and Mane Me” hitmaker says she was surprise that Ghanaian artists did not get nomination of the foreign based BET award.
“It’s disappointing. We want people to represent us on the international scene and it’s sad we had no nomination.” She said.
She noted that in 2018, many Ghanaian songs were able to cross borders to other countries. Naf Kassi timed it agitating to understand the “algorithm used to nominate artists for the Best International Act category of the BET award event.
“We had lots of hits and it was a very good year so I don’t know why that happened but we just have to work harder”. She added.
Naf kassi is currently promoting her latest single which she calls it ODO and was produced by award winning producer, Jake on da Beatz.
