Nwomaso: 6th March Celebration , Mr. Bruce Urges Ghanaians to work ”as Collective Effort” towards The Nation Building, Peace, Unity.

Nwomaso in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa district, central, marks Ghana’s 62nd Independence day celebration on March 6th ,2019, fruitful.

Addressing the occasion, Mr Bruce Domson ,Chairman of the NPP in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa said, ” I am very impressed with the large turnout of school children and their smartness to participate in this all-important event. On behalf of His Excellency, President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo and on my own behalf, I wish to welcome you to all-important ceremony.”

Mr Bruce emphasize a deliberate call and how this independence day celebration mean to the Ghanaian society, despite it constitutional mandate.

He stated that, ”Since we as a nation, gained political independence from our British colonial masters through the blood and toil of our forefathers. Ladies and Gentlemen cannot be commemorated without showing our profound appreciation to our forefathers whose blood and toil has brought us this far.”

He hereafter noted that, the celebration of Ghana’s independence have adequately afford Ghanaians the unique opportunities to sustain peace and the democratic principles which is bequeathed to the state.

Mr. Bruce further on expresses his deepest concern on the Theme for the Independence ceremony, as ”Celebrating Peace and Unity” not being only appropriate but timely, considering Ghana’s peaceful atmosphere in relating to other West African countries.

He stress on Ghana’s successes to peace, stability and democracy as enviably enjoying herein Ghana over the years, whereof the democratic principles is being ruled over.

He urges each and every Ghanaian to ” Uphold and sustain” it, thereof ”As a collective effort, without racism (nor) political affiliation to work towards maintaining the enviable record in the sub-region .

He assures the people of the security agencies being on it toes to fully exercise it power on bad people in the district and in the country whereas he encourage the residence to pay heed to support the disband of the party vigilantism which undermines the democratic dispensation of the electorate and the 1992 constitution. ”In the same vein, the upsurge of political vigilantism also threatens our peace and unity, there is the need for all Ghanaians to rise up and join the campaign to disband this vigilantism”.He said.

Education is one of the most vital assert in every society, hence, as part of the government’s effort to provide free education to every Ghanaian child in the second cycle institution. Mr. Bruce urge the Nwomaso residence and the public to provide their full support to the president, since the government may not be able to do it alone. Adding to this, he advice the students to avoid all immoral act or groups which may risk their lives in the (future).

Gracing the occasion, Nwomaso Assembly member -Mr. Andoh encourage the teaching staffs in the town to give out their maximum best as well as ensuring better future leaders to the community.

Mr Andoh assures the Nwomaso community about the rebuilding of the Methodist school which is engulfed by rainstorm in 2018.

He therefore pledges to give the 2019 B.E.C.E candidates in the community a mathematical set each.

Concluding the occasion, Mr Bruce Domson emphasized that he is making all effort to reconstruct the desperate road in the community and it environs–From Amoada to Asikuma.

He cited on the highly rate filth as a result of indiscriminate dumping and open defecation at which the district is worrying of, therein pleading and advising the community to be part of clean environment.
