The Coalition of National Enumerators and Supervisors (CONES) is an aggrieved group who were contracted by the Ghana statistical service to undertake an individual house data collection nationwide.

The exercise was dubbed, ‘Ghana Census of Agriculture’ of which we were made to sign a contract but the statistical service disrespected and breached the contract but due to limited decisions, we did the work to completion in December 2018.

As enumerators who have fulfilled our obligations, we do hereby state categorically clear that the Ghana Statistical Service should:
Honour the extra contract to those whose cases were beyond 770
Pay the remaining allowance by March 27, 2019.
We unanimously forgive the terms that were breached but as with these two demands not met, we will have no option than to release the contractual agreement any moment from now and also embark on a nationwide demonstration on March 29, 2019 against the Ghana Statistical Service.
